| Dan and Carrie's Radically-Awesome-Super-GnarDelux-Joint Poem
Once there was a man named Dan, Who loved eggs when fried in a pan, And writing stories was his plan.
One day he took out a pen and wrote: To do today: Buy a boat. So depart did he, and of course he brought his goat.
The goat scoped out for the perfect ship, In which, to make, a long, weary trip, So they mutinied the crew and let 'er rip.
When once the ship was firmly in their power, They went on a quest for the magical flower, But not until they both had a shower.
Then the poor goat got liquid soap in his eye, And Dan feared the goat might die, And become a goat angel up in the sky,
But fear, did they, for nought, For 'twas a magic flower they sought, So with this in mind, a fine vase they bought.
It was the vase that saved them from a terrible fate, For the flower's mercy was oh so great, And would save them from a weed's gruesome hate.
To Be Continued....

| Life is awesome, so of course I need to tell y'all that. Here's an update for ya (if you care): four more weeks until I'm through with school. and I'm more content with life than you are. which is pretty rad if ya ask me.. I've had difficulty being perfectly content in the past.. but God has been teaching me to trust in Him.
What has He been teaching you recently?
more to come soon, incidentally.. the-dancer-who-will-dance-4-an-eternity and I are currently working on a poem. and it's pretty gnar-delux if ya ask me. k peace out, dpeckkkk

| my buddy superglump (chris), was right, I was loosely quoting The Hobbit. anyway, so here's another blog for you, I don't have much to report, but I'll report away anyway. school's going well, Lent is going well, and pretty much life in general is going well. although I still haven't come up with anything in particular to fast from for Lent. last year it was flirting, but I don't flirt much anymore (I'm very picky now with whom I flirt). so giving up flirting doesn't really count because it wouldn't be a challenge to my mad hot powers of self-control hahahaa. I may end up giving up cards for a few weeks, just to prove to myself it's a hobby and not an addiction hahaha (I used to practice quite a bit). but I've already begun to cut back on my card time since this semester started, so that really leaves me with nothing in particular that needs must be fasted from. so in the end I have decided to just focus on being the best Christian I can be and fast from nothing in particular, but from everything which is other than good. and of course I plan on keeping with the fast prescribed by the Orthodox Church and not eat meat or dairy (crazy hard I know), so Lord give me the strength to get through that! hmm.. hum hmm hum, oh! more news, I was asked to do an interview for my card forum (kinda/sorta a big deal), so that's exciting because if I ever want to make money off this stuff, I have to get my name out there. hmmmm what else what else.. this past weekend I shared Easter with The Kroeker Family, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank them for including me and hosting me, I appreciated it for sure. k i guesst hats all really, Christ is Risen! dpeckkk | | |
| Here's another blog for you to read and me to write. I really don't have much to report: my life is going amazingly well. I'm working hard in college, playing hard with my friends, and eating hard when I'm not doing either of those activities. Oh, and sleeping (hard?) fits somewhere into that. Hopefully I should be posting another blog soon, I'm going to hang out with d4eternity this weekend, so I'm sure we'll have pictures to show y'all, or a video or two, or something! So that should be, interesting? Hopefully.
Okay, I must away (ere break of day), to get me to my class. Five imaginary points to the first who tells me which book I was quoting--there's a few right answers, but I've got a specific book in mind. Wait now I have to check to be sure loll.. and 'ere break of day' has been used in too many, so just take a random guess hahahaha.
bye, danpeckkk
